Privacy and third-party photographs
Recovery Scout displays public facility-source records for informational use. Search filters and page requests are processed to show public listings; this directory does not request diagnoses, patient intake or health histories.
When Google Places photo previews are enabled, the site asks Google Places for a photo associated with a source-matched facility only when a visitor views or requests a preview. Images load from Google-controlled hosts. Google may receive the viewer’s IP address, device and browser information. Recovery Scout does not save or cache Google photo content, photo references or media URLs to Cloudflare storage.
Recovery Scout also offers free, direct Google Maps links for facility-location and photo discovery. Clicking these links leaves Recovery Scout and opens Google Maps. Google may offer photos for a matching place, but availability and exact facility identity must be checked there. Recovery Scout does not fetch, copy or cache images shown on Google Maps, and no Google Cloud API key or billing project is used for these links.
Cloudflare operates site hosting, DNS and security. The existing approved first-party R2 facility photo system is separate from third-party Google imagery. Public Google Photos display is conditional on authorized API access.
Google processes its services under the Google Privacy Policy. For site privacy questions, email [email protected].
